Hi James, I'm reasonably certain that even though it appears
that Virtue is working, it's probably throwing errors all over the
place in the background. Even if you get the AppleScript right, I
don't think that this will work under Snow Leopard (or Leopard).
Most of Virtue's more advanced functions relied on injecting a code
bundle into the Dock process — this wasn't updated for
10.5/10.6, so it really doesn't work (and therefore isn't capable
of actually doing what you're asking it to do).
Your usage of the shift keyword is correct, so it's
not you, it's Virtue.
Sorry, you're not the first person to have an "Awesome! Virtue
works OK under 10.5+" moment :(
